El Referente Newspaper Kapital, the Mexican fintech that facilitates access to loans and provides a payment and collection platform, has received $40 million in the closing of its Series B funding round. The operation was led by Tribe Capital and saw the participation of Cervin Ventures, Tru Arrow Partners, MS&AD Ventures, and Alumni Ventures, among other investors.

This investment round is complemented by the closure of a debt agreement that provides the Mexican startup with $125 million. With this capital infusion, the fintech can expand throughout Mexico and grow in other Latin American markets.
