Spain: Granada to Host 2024 World Happiness Festival Alongside Miami

 

The World Happiness Festival, organized by the World Happiness Foundation, has chosen Granada as the host city alongside Miami (United States) for its 2024 edition. Scheduled for March 15-17, the event will bring together over 50 experts delivering talks, conferences, and performances centered around happiness.

Granada has been selected as the Spanish city for this global gathering, which will feature renowned national and international thought leaders, experts, and change-makers. The festival will explore various thematic areas related to the well-being of individuals and organizations.

This marks the ninth edition of the event, commencing on March 15 at the Carmen de los Mártires in Granada and later moving to Miami on March 22-24. With the participation of more than 50 personalities, experts in fields such as mental health, education, personal development, leadership, workplace well-being, art, culture, and music, the festival aims to reach over ten million people through various channels of the organizing foundation.

Juan Ramón Ferreira, the Councilor for Culture and Tourism of Granada, announced the city’s selection and expressed enthusiasm for Granada becoming an international hub for discussions on mental health, education, and leadership.

Ferreira highlighted the potential of the event for Granada, especially in its aspirations to become the European Capital of Culture in 2031. The World Happiness Foundation, headquartered in Miami with a delegation in Spain for Europe and Latin America, drives actions and projects in education, health, business, and public and private leadership to create environments conducive to well-being and happiness.

The festival, coinciding with the celebration of the International Day of Happiness proclaimed by the UN on March 20, 2012, will take place on March 15-17, 2024, in Granada. It offers a unique opportunity for more than 400 experts and professionals worldwide to engage in a rich ecosystem addressing diverse themes such as work, mental health, education, technology, personal growth, social impact, music, mindfulness, art, culture, gastronomy, public policies, and the economy.
