Africa Digital Festival, the pan-African festival to unlock Africa’s digital future through a series of events and activities leading to the annual Pan African business platform for all things digital and tech on the continent has announced its 2021 list publication of Africa’s 50 digital champions recognizing innovators and pacesetters on the African continent.
The Africa’s 50 Digital Champions is a list that showcases innovators, start-ups, policymakers among other stakeholders from 50 African countries who are championing the use of digital.
This 2021 list features notable household names such as Hadja Fatimata Ouattara (Minister of Digital
Economy & Postal Development — Burkina Faso), Sitoyo Lopokoiyit (MPesa Managing Director — Kenya)
Olivia Garcia (CTO GITGE — Equatorial Guinea), Marvin Tarawally (Executive Director Smart Liberia — Liberia),
Alan Boshwaen (CEO Botswana Innovation Hub — Botswana) among others.
