Gabon’s Ministry of Digital Economy, Digitalisation and Innovation has announced the launch of KIMBA CONNECT 2026, an initiative aimed at connecting startups, developers, entrepreneurs, project leaders, and innovation stakeholders with businesses seeking innovative digital solutions to address real market challenges.
As part of the programme, the Ministry will hold an information session on 24 July at 9:00 a.m. at the Bank of Central African States (BEAC) in Libreville. The event is designed to introduce participants to the opportunities available through the KIMBA CONNECT 2026 Innovation Challenge and provide guidance on how to take part in the programme.

During the session, attendees will be introduced to the 16 Enterprise Challenges that make up the core of the initiative. Organisers will explain the selection criteria, application process, and the expectations of participating partner companies, enabling innovators to prepare strong and competitive proposals.
Participants will also have the opportunity to engage directly with members of the KIMBA CONNECT team, ask questions, and receive practical guidance on developing applications that respond effectively to real business needs. According to the Ministry, the session is intended to equip innovators with the knowledge and resources needed to transform ideas into viable business solutions.
The Ministry has encouraged startups, developers, and digital solution providers from across Gabon to attend the event and seize the opportunity to showcase innovative technologies capable of addressing the operational challenges of local businesses. Officials say the programme represents an important platform for entrepreneurs to collaborate with the private sector while gaining visibility for their innovations.
Through KIMBA CONNECT 2026, the Government aims to strengthen collaboration between innovators and enterprises, promote entrepreneurship, and accelerate the country’s digital transformation agenda. The initiative forms part of broader national efforts to foster innovation, support technology-driven businesses, and create an enabling environment for startups to thrive.
