Held in Guangzhou, in southern China’s Guangdong Province, the fair brings together innovative products ranging from humanoid robots and industrial robotic arms to smart glasses, AI-powered earphones, health wearables and intelligent home appliances. Through live demonstrations and interactive displays, exhibitors are presenting technologies designed to improve efficiency, enhance communication and respond to changing consumer needs.
Among the attractions are embodied intelligence robots capable of performing practical tasks, including sorting packages, as well as autonomous window-cleaning robots designed to simplify everyday activities. These demonstrations illustrate how robotics and artificial intelligence are increasingly being integrated into services, logistics and domestic environments.
Smart glasses are another notable innovation at the exhibition. Equipped with AI capabilities, some models can identify objects and provide information through voice commands. One product demonstrated at the fair can estimate the calorie content of food and suggest lower-calorie meal options through a connected mobile application, illustrating how AI-powered devices are expanding into personal assistance and lifestyle management.
Health technology is also evolving, with screenless smart bands and smart rings offering alternatives to conventional wearable devices. Some products can operate for one to two weeks on a single charge, while companion applications use AI to generate health reports and provide personalised recommendations. Such developments reflect the growing convergence of wearable technology, data analysis and digital health management.
Communication is another area receiving attention. AI-powered earphones are being developed to improve speech recognition in noisy environments and support smoother communication across languages. Exhibitors report improvements in audio capture and recognition, addressing practical challenges in crowded settings such as trade fairs, workplaces and international business meetings.
The exhibition also reflects the growing adoption of digital technologies across China’s industrial and commercial sectors. According to figures cited in the fair’s report, 235,000 AI products are being showcased, while more than 20,000 participating enterprises have adopted new technologies and business models, including industrial internet solutions and artificial intelligence.
In the home appliance sector, companies are moving beyond individual smart devices towards integrated solutions for living rooms, kitchens and laundry areas. By connecting household appliances and incorporating AI-driven functions, manufacturers are seeking to make daily routines more convenient while offering international buyers a broader vision of the smart home.
