The French Ambassador, Olivier Brochenin received and congratulated the entrepreneurs at the France residence. They held conversations about their projects as he encouraged them to continue contributing to the development of the youth.

Entrepreneurs were invited to the Africa-France 2020 Summit which was due to start on June 4, 2020 in Bordeaux, France. The current circumstances related to the COVID-19 pandemic no longer allow it to be held as planned.
Attending the meeting, the Economic and Commercial Chief, Mr. Arthur Berthet, Cooperation Attaché, Mrs Sylvia FERNANDEZ, and Assistant Mrs Taous CHABRA, the ambassador guided the winners into the next steps amid the actual COVID-19 pandemic crisis.
The winners will benefit from a dedicated support program, allowing them to have access to funding, training, networking and visibility for their projects.
In the very Short term, the Laureats will immediately and automatically access the Digital Africa Campus, which is launching a “Resilient Summer School” starting July 2020. This program includes: free Masterclass cycles focused initially on entrepreneurial resilience in times of crisis; weekly experience sharing sessions (meet-ups) by sector of activity.
The 1000 Entrepreneurs, with perfect parity between men and women, come from 53 African countries, and are active in the fields of water and sanitation, waste treatment, energy, education, digital , agriculture, mobility etc.
