South Africa Bids Farewell to Zulu Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi

Thousands of mourners have gathered for the state funeral of Zulu prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi, the founder of Inkatha Freedom Party and a Zulu Prince who died a week ago. The late Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi, 95, who passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023 will be accorded a Special Official Funeral, Category 1, at Ulundi, KwaZulu-Natal province on Saturday, September 16, 2023.

In attendance are business leaders and political figures including former president of Nigeria Olusegun Obsanjo and former South African presidents Thabo Mbeki, Jacob Zuma, Kgalima Motlanthe and Economic Freedom Front leader Juliuis Malema.
