After the death of Santiago Nsobeya Efuman Nchama, who held the position of First Vice-President of the Chamber of Deputies, this Friday, August 14 and in accordance with the Internal Regulations of the Chambers and Law No. 8/2015 regulating the Elections of The Chamber of Deputies, Senate and municipalities of Equatorial Guinea, Salomón Nguema Owono, until now Minister of State in charge of Health and Social Welfare, has been appointed to occupy this position as First Vice-President of the Chamber of Deputies.
Similarly, José Mbá Obama Bendomo, until now a Counselor to the Presidency, takes over the vacant seat produced after the death of Hipólito Mba Sima. While Bernardo Djoni Pelico will occupy the seat occupied by Francisca Tatchoup Belope, who has been appointed to occupy the Vice-Presidency of the Commission of the Economic Community of Central African States (CEEAC).
