Nigeria International Victor Moses has completed his transfer to Russian football

Former Nigeria international Victor Moses has completed his transfer to Russian football powerhouse Spartak Moscow.

The experienced versatile player has joined Spartak on loan from English giants Chelsea.

The People’s Team announced Moses’ arrival at the club on their official website.

A club statement read: “FC Spartak-Moscow and English Chelsea have agreed to transfer midfielder Viktor Moses to our club.”

The lease agreement with the 29-year-old footballer is calculated until the end of this season with the option of buying out the player’s transfer.

Moses will join Spartak in the very near future. We welcome Victor to the red and white family and wish to show himself brightly in our team, is a versatile footballer capable of playing in a variety of offensive positions including right wing-back and right-winger.

The quick player is well-travelled having turned out for English clubs Crystal Palace, Wigan Athletic, Chelsea, Liverpool, Stoke City and West Ham United.

Moses spent some time with Liverpool, Stoke, West Ham, Turkish side Fenerbahce and Italian giants Inter Milan on loan from Chelsea.

He helped Nigeria clinch the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) title in South Africa and he retired from international football in 2018 having netted 12 goals in 38 games for the Super Eagles.
