Equatorial Guinea: Eurekeando Becomes Members of the African Tourism Board

Equatorial Guinea has in recent months shown a strong to desire to continuously showcase the country as a holiday destination and with the array of nature’s blessings and uniqueness of being the only Spanish speaking nation in Africa, one can easily see the attraction for tourists.

The project to open the country to tourism has a first phase that consists of the organization of FAM TRIP made up of tour operators, consultants in the tourism sector, organizations, travel agencies, among others, with the aim of showing them the tourism potential as well as establishing ways of collaboration with national companies in the sector. One of such companies is Eurekeando.

In positioning itself as one of the industry leaders, during the tour of the FAM TRIP, Eurekeando were inducted into the African Tourism Board, an important milestone. The signing ceremony and declaration of collaboration between the African Tourism Board and Eurekeando took place at El Retiro de Riaba hotel.

The agreement was signed by the General Director of Eurekeando, Teodoro Ganet Lopato and the Executive Charmain of the African Tourism Board, Cuthbert Ncube. 

This now makes Eurekeando the first Equatoguinean company to be a member of the African Tourism Board.

With the signing of this agreement, Miguel Ángel Moiche Chicampo, Head of Operations at Eurekeando, said this collaboration and membership will allow the company’s tour packages and excursions to be extended to all members that are part of the African Tourism Board, creating a marketing network throughout the African continent and positioning Equatorial Guinea as a tourist destination in Africa from anywhere in the world.
