Markets across the city centre have been busier than usual as Muslims celebrated Eid- al – Fitr. Busiest sections have been at the butchery and chicken stalls.
Buyers purchased and took the food home for cooking while some waited to have their chicken slaughtered at the market. One hen cost shs10,000.
