Equatorial Guinea: Educka Academy Holds Prize-giving Ceremony

The Educka Academy (ACED S.L), last Friday at the BANGE Business School Headquarters held its award ceremony for the students with the highest academic performance in the selectivity tests for the years 2021 and 2022.

The first edition of this event is the result of hard collaborative work between those responsible for ACED S.L, the directors of the centers of origin of the students, the teachers and parents of the students. Representatives of some schools that have opened their doors to Educka were present at this event such as the Adventist School, E Waiso Ipola Institute, Las Semillas School, María Cano School.

The event began with the words of one of the founders of ACED S.L, Juan Misumbi Rondo, who based his speech on a great architect of education, Nelson Mandela, who once said that “Education is the most powerful weapon with that you can change the world.”

Misumbi Rondo, highlighted the importance of education as one of the fundamental pillars for the development of a society. In the same way, he appealed to the consciences of all the actors in the education of our young people, placing greater emphasis on the support they must provide to students. Thus, in his philosophy, they intend to reinforce the students’ knowledge, following up to know their progress.

During his brief dissertation, Misumbi also gave an overview of what the Educka Academy is, his arduous career, his vision and objective, his achievements during those years of economic transition and projections into the future, which looks hopeful. The Educka academy offers private classes, vocational counseling, preparation courses for the selectivity tests.

The director of the Adventist College, Mr. Nicolás Bacale Nguema, and the Deputy Director of BANGE Business School also took to the floor, praising the great task carried out by the team that makes up ACED S.L, and insisting on the importance that education plays in the fight against social inequality.

“Education is a touchstone at all levels in a globalized world and it is necessary that we all get involved in this great mission,” concluded Bacale Nguema.

The event ended with the delivery of the certificate, a check valued at 150,000 XAF, to Adelaida Rope Sam, student with the highest score in the Selectividad tests, June 2022.

Miguel Ángel Vandy Reo, co-founder of ACED, encouraged all the other students that from now on they sign up for this great adventure to follow in the footsteps of Rope Sam. Accompanied by her friends, colleagues and family, the young Adelaida ROPE, valued the role that her parents and friends have played in this great fight. “I thank my friends, because this award is thanks to collective work, sometimes I was discouraged but my friend encouraged me to continue” and especially remember the words she always told me: “Nobody regrets having studied”.

Special mention was made to the students in past years who also obtained higher performance, giving them their respective certificates of recognition. the event ended with the family photo and the exchange of impressions of the different attendees to the event.
