Previously carried out by the Ministry of Labor, Employment Promotion and Social Security, the Africa HR Forum returns to take place virtually from July 20th to July 30th, 2020 with the first objective of promoting the actions carried out by the Government of Equatorial Guinea in the development of human resources in the administrative sector over the years and collect the recommendations of pan-African experts and the attending public on how to improve the management and public administration of human resources.
Following the modalities of the exchanges, the event will begin with a brief speech given by the Minister of Public Function and Administrative Reform His Excellency Mr. Eucario Bacale Angue Oyana, followed by the participation of national panelists, who will make an overview of the human resources situation in the public administration.
The next sessions will include the participation of pan-African experts such as the Vice President of the African Association for Management and Public Administration in Central Africa, Associate Professor in Management and Public Administration – School of Government Studies – South Africa, Head of the Section for Reform and Policy of Economic Diversification, Sub regional Office for Central Africa of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, who will be able to provide recommendations to current practices and standards for improving public management of Human Resources.
The Africa HR Forum is an initiative launched by the Government of Equatorial Guinea through the Ministry of Labor, Employment Promotion and Social Security and the Ministry of Public Function and Administrative Reform with the aim of revolutionizing pan-African human resources by providing them with a space for meeting and exchange, networking, training and labor inclusion, between Pan-African experts, professionals from the labor sector and the general public.
