This result represents a significant achievement for Togo, who now have two draws in these qualifiers, the first against Liberia. Coach Nibombé Daré highlighted his team’s defensive ability and tactical discipline, particularly their skill in retreating and frustrating the Guinean attacks. Djene Dakonam, the team captain, also celebrated the hard-earned point under difficult circumstances.
