The 2022 Afrilabs Gathering, hosted by the Jacaranda Hub, Lusaka, Zambia, is well underway with the Annual General Meeting leading a host of activities lined up.

During the meeting, it was announced that 30 new hubs joined in the third quarter of the year, bringing the total to 400 hubs in 52 African countries and 241 cities. A truly remarkable feat and growth.

Guests, participants and members have been arriving Lusaka, Zambia since last weekend, as they took in the early sights and sounds.
With such remarkable number of member hubs and presence in countries, Afrilabs is projected to cover the whole continent by the time of its next gathering in 2023.

Executive Director, Afrilabs, Anna Ekeledo, called on members to always share more ideas in order to facilitate more growth and capacity building activities.

The discussions at the Annual General Meeting includes policy strategy, communication, event partnerships, the Afrilabs Academy, capacity building programs and the catalyctic fund.
