Africa takes center stage in shaping a new era of strategic global investment.
Dubai hosts a high-level forum to strengthen UAE-Africa partnerships for sustainable growth.
Africa is asserting its leadership in global economic transformation. On 30 September 2025, Dubai will host The Africa Debate – UAE, a high-level investment forum organized by Invest Africa, in partnership with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Government and the Ministry of Foreign Trade.Under the theme “Shared Markets. Shared Future,” the forum will gather more than 500 top decision-makers from government, finance, and industry to drive forward the next chapter of UAE-Africa economic cooperation.
This year’s conference comes at a pivotal time for Africa, as the continent accelerates industrialization, digital transformation, and green transition. These landmark deals illustrate a new era of strategic co-investment between Africa and the UAE. A senior official from the UAE Ministry of Economy emphasized: “Africa is a vital partner in our economic future. Through The Africa Debate, we aim to deepen our ties, build shared prosperity, and position the UAE as a long-term gateway for impactful investment across the continent.”
Chantelé Carrington, CEO of Invest Africa, echoed this sentiment: “Dubai has long been a global hub for climate innovation, digital finance, and investment strategy—core elements of Africa’s growth story. This forum creates a rare opportunity to connect African and Emirati leaders around shared vision, capital flows, and transformative results.”
Discussions at the forum will include Africa’s rising role in the global green hydrogen economy, the potential for next-generation smart infrastructure, the strategic role of agribusiness in a changing climate, and reimagining capital flows through sovereign wealth, blended finance, and regional co-investment.
