Equatorial Guinea: Dreams Hub Appoint New Project and Programs Manager

The Research and Innovation center (Afrilabs member), have today announced the appointment of Ivan Somo Bita Dougan, as its new Project and Programs Manager.

The Malabo based hub has stated its delight in getting Ivan Dougan on board as it works on plans to scale its activities. A trained Communications and Media professional, Ivan, brings a wealth of valuable experience having enjoyed a career spanning over a decade in communications, marketing, product management, business development and consultancy.

‘’We’re making progress as we continue to work on plans to improve our offerings, build the ecosystem we dream of, empower individuals and organizations with the necessary human and technical talents, and we believe that Ivan Dougan will play an important role in ensuring our success,’’ said the Founder, Oscar A. NchasoBekari.

One of the new Project and Programs Manager’s immediate task will be to oversee the success of the ‘100 dreams’ project, which is set to commence on July 5.  ‘100 dreams’ is an extension of Dreams Hub’s famed Huevos de Cristal program that has seen it empower children with information technology relevant skills, setting them on a path of continuous knowledge.This cohort will be empowered using digital tools and learning key information technology skills alongside the English language to complement the center’s massive digital education program.
