Scheduled from October 27 to November 2, 2025, in Sipopo, Equatorial Guinea, the Central African International Tourism Fair (FITAC) is set to gather government leaders, industry players, and international organizations to enhance Central Africa’s tourism opportunities.
The 2023 edition set a strong precedent with remarkable growth in participation and reach. Over 222,000 attendees, including 136,000 professionals—a 68% increase from the previous year—took part. The event hosted 8,500 companies from 131 countries across 66,900 square meters of exhibition space. This success not only underscored FITAC’s importance in promoting sustainable tourism but also drew international attention to emerging African destinations.
For 2025, FITAC will focus on the biodiversity and culture of Equatorial Guinea. The host region, renowned for its diverse landscapes ranging from volcanic beaches to tropical rainforests, will serve as the ideal backdrop for interactive activities, business meetings, and exhibitions aimed at fostering regional cooperation. These initiatives seek to position Central Africa as a competitive player in global tourism.
With its modern infrastructure and strategic location on Bioko Island, Sipopo will serve as the hub for this international event. Alongside its luxury hotels and dedicated networking spaces, the city will offer a unique natural environment that enhances the attendee experience. This holistic approach aims to surpass the achievements of previous editions.
Although registrations for the upcoming edition are now closed, FITAC 2025 promises to establish itself as a milestone in Africa’s tourism promotion, showcasing the immense potential of the region as an emerging destination.
