Madrid Woman’s Week continues its 15th anniversary celebrations with a dynamic agenda aimed at highlighting women’s roles in key sectors. Tomorrow, March 26, the event will feature a roundtable discussion focused on women in private investigation, a traditionally male-dominated field. The event will be available online.

Although historically masculinized, the private investigation sector has witnessed a growing female presence over the past decades. Women in this field have broken through social and cultural barriers, proving their competence with professionalism, ethics, and a unique perspective that enriches the profession.

The 2025 edition of the event has been celebrated under the theme “All Women, All Rights”, emphasizing the need for a more inclusive and intersectional feminism. You can read the key takeaways from MWW2025 here, and below, you can access the live broadcast of the March 26 event:

To shed light on these professionals and discuss the challenges that still lie ahead, Madrid Woman’s Week will bring together leading voices from the sector:

  • Lola Murias, Founder & CEO of Descubro B2B.

  • Elisenda Villena, Founder & Director of Elisenda Villena Investigación & Consulting.

  • Lara Bueno, Founder & CEO of Grupo Phoenix.

  • Moderator: Pilar Gómez-Acebo, President of the Advisory Council of Madrid Woman’s Week.

The online event will take place at 1:00 PM CET and will explore the increasing role of women in this profession, as well as the challenges and opportunities they face. It will provide an insightful look into a lesser-known industry led by women who are breaking barriers and shattering glass ceilings.

Madrid Woman’s Week, an initiative by Fundación Woman’s Week, has been committed for 15 years to raising awareness and promoting women’s rights in key areas such as leadership, technology, education, media, and finance, with the aim of bridging gender gaps in crucial economic sectors.
