09 May, 2020: Current Covid-19 statistics released through a communiqué by the Ministry of Health and Wellness, this afternoon, indicate that Mauritius has recorded no new case over the last 24 hours. Hence, the country has registered no new Covid-19 case for thirteen consecutive days. Presently, there are only two active cases.
The figures are as follows:
- The number of positive cases is 332
- The death toll remains at ten
- Three hundred and twenty patients have been successfully treated
- As at now, a total of 23 101 PCR tests has been carried out while 46 672 Rapid Antigen Tests have been conducted
- One hundred persons are under quarantine
