Beneficiaries of the Huevos de Cristal initiative by Dreams Hub Research and Innovation Center were guests of the Embassy of France, Equatorial Guinea.
Welcomed by the Chargée de Mission for Economy and Commercial, Audrey Avocegamou, the children in attendance, 11 in number, were accompanied by Oscar A. Nchaso Bekari (Founder and Director of Dreams Hub), Ivan Somo Bita Dougan (Project and Programs Manager, Dreams Hub) and Amor Nchaso (Executive Secretary, Dreams Hub).
The Ambassador, Olivier Brochenin, expressed his delight with the visit and engaged the children on different topics ranging from his motivations to his experience and in a question and answer segment, got to know more about some of the children’s favourite things, places and future ambitions. Ambassador Olivier Brochenin explained to the excited and eager children the roles of an Ambassador and why they are important.
Before they sat with the Ambassador, Audrey Avocegamou took the children on a tour of the Embassy and different departments, taking them through their day-to-day activities and answered any questions asked.
They met with the Consul, Departments of Military Corporations, Economy and Commercial, and also Culture. The Embassy staff were happy to answer any question asked and even explained some scenarios to them to further aid their understanding.
The location on which the Embassy sits on is blessed with natural scenery and the children took in the beauty and splendour of it.
The Huevos de Cristal is a social programme run by Dreams Hub Research and Innovation Center, for children aged between the ages of 7-13, teaching them skills in information technology.
This was the second excursion/working visit to an establishment by the Huevos de Cristal since Dreams Hub began this new phase of the program, offering them insights into what it looks and feels like to put what they’re taught into practice on a daily, and the opportunities to meet with professionals and get their curiosities satisfied.

To cap what was truly a splendid, wonderful and unforgettable experience, the children were invited by Ambassador Olivier Brochenin to his residence for some snacks and chocolates. Safe to say, it’s an experience that will stay with them for a very long time. In his final message to the children, he encouraged them to continue to focus in school, learn as much as they can, read and become great people, while also appreciating Dreams Hub for a laudable initiative.
