AfriLabs, the largest pan-African network of innovation and technology hubs, has announced it has received an unrestricted donation of $150,000 from the Airbnb Community Fund, aimed at empowering innovation across the African continent.

The Airbnb Community Fund supports organizations creating tangible change in key areas such as environmental sustainability, economic empowerment, mental health, and the prevention of abuse and exploitation. This contribution underscores Airbnb’s commitment to advancing impactful, community-led initiatives globally.

By supporting AfriLabs, Airbnb reinforces its belief in the transformative role that innovation hubs play in driving economic and social development. The unrestricted nature of the donation offers AfriLabs the flexibility to allocate funds where they are most needed—boosting capacity, supporting over 500 hubs across 53 African countries, and nurturing thousands of entrepreneurs.
