Orange Egypt has announced that three Egyptian startups have qualified for the international stage of the Orange Social Venture Prize (OSVP) 2026 after emerging as winners of the local round of the competition’s 16th edition.

The development forms part of Orange Egypt’s continued efforts to support entrepreneurship and innovation by identifying promising startups, supporting technology-driven ideas and creating opportunities for Egyptian entrepreneurs to compete at regional and international levels.

Over its 16-year history, the OSVP has become one of Orange’s key initiatives across Africa and the Middle East for identifying startups using innovation and technology to address social and environmental challenges. The programme also promotes entrepreneurship as a contributor to economic growth and youth empowerment.

The three winning startups — Extractor Co., Deaf Gain and P-Vita — will represent Egypt at the international stage alongside startups selected from other countries where Orange operates across Africa and the Middle East.

The selected startups will have access to Orange’s technology-enabled business solutions, designed to support operational efficiency, business development and preparation for the next phase of their growth.

“The Orange Social Venture Prize is one of the initiatives that reflects Orange’s long-standing commitment to supporting young people and entrepreneurship. At Orange Egypt, we firmly believe that Egyptian youth possess the ambition, capabilities, and ideas needed to build companies capable of competing both locally and internationally. As a private-sector player, it is our responsibility to help unlock this potential by providing access to the opportunities, tools, and expertise needed to turn ideas into successful and scalable ventures,” said Maha Nagy, Chief Communication Officer at Orange Egypt.

Nagy said the progress of the Egyptian startups to the international stage demonstrates the continued development of the country’s entrepreneurship ecosystem and the ability of local entrepreneurs to create solutions capable of meeting international standards.

She added that Orange Egypt would continue supporting initiatives designed to equip young entrepreneurs with the expertise, tools and confidence required to transform innovative ideas into viable and scalable businesses.

Noor was also recognised with the Women’s Prize, which supports women-led startups. The company will proceed to the international competition, highlighting efforts to expand opportunities for women entrepreneurs within the innovation ecosystem.

The Egyptian finalists will compete at the international stage for a total prize pool of €70,000. Beyond the financial awards, the international competition is expected to provide participating startups with opportunities to expand their professional networks, gain access to expertise and explore potential new markets.

Through the OSVP and its broader entrepreneurship initiatives, Orange Egypt continues to promote innovation and support young talent, while creating pathways for Egyptian startups to develop their businesses and take locally developed solutions to regional and international markets.
