Autismo Guinea Ecuatorial has once again taken the lead in uniting sport, solidarity, and inclusion through its annual Solidarity Race initiative, a key event that raises awareness about autism and supports families throughout the country. Since its launch in 2022, the race has become a powerful tool for social engagement, earning recognition from the NGO’s president and founder as the National Day of Citizen Solidarity in Equatorial Guinea.

In 2026, the initiative will reach all provincial capitals, including Annobón. In Malabo, the event will take place on March 28 at 6:00 a.m. along the Paseo Marítimo, while in Bata and other cities it will begin at 6:30 a.m. Under the motto “Together for the Cause,” Autismo Guinea Ecuatorial emphasizes the importance of collaboration among citizens, institutions, and businesses to advance the rights of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Neurodevelopmental Disorders and promote their full inclusion in society.


Supported by organizations including FCMNO, BGFIBank G.E., BANGE, CONEXXIA, and APEC, alongside dedicated volunteers and institutions, the Solidarity Race initiative has grown into a symbol of hope, community engagement, and social responsibility. The event demonstrates that collective effort can generate lasting social impact and meaningful support for families of people with autism.Beyond being a sporting event, the initiative serves as a platform to foster understanding, break down societal barriers, and showcase the value of inclusion. By combining physical activity with social engagement, Autismo Guinea Ecuatorial inspires citizens to take an active role in advocating for equality and ensuring that families of people with autism receive recognition and support.
