On Friday, September 23rd, around 2:30 PM, Oscar Nchaso, the executive director of the technological, entrepreneurial, research, and innovation center, Dreams Hub, presented a comprehensive proposal to the Chamber of Commerce’s highest representative. The President was accompanied by the Chamber’s directors and technical team.
Nchaso’s proposal “Exporta Bioko” outlines a Digital Ecosystem, a concept that emerged following his initial visit earlier this month. During that visit, he met with the Chamber’s President, Angel Noconoco.
The Digital Ecosystem, as suggested by Dreams Hub, would seamlessly interconnect the Chamber’s affiliates and their businesses, fostering a 360-degree approach. This approach would enhance international visibility and facilitate collaborative exchanges with other Chambers of Commerce across the globe.
After the presentation, President Noconoco underscored that the proposal aligns with the Chamber’s overarching vision. It is now under consideration by the Chamber’s team of advisors. In the event of approval, this endeavor would define the platform’s scope, delivery phases, as well as potential new modules and value-added services. Nchaso also introduced the concept of establishing an incubator in the future, specifically designed for the affiliates of the Chamber of Commerce of Bioko.
Later on, Dreams Hub executive director diligently recorded the insights and recommendations of the Chamber’s representatives, including the Chief of Staff and the Head of the Legal Department. They emphasized the importance of modular deliveries should the project gain validation and proceed with execution by the firm. This approach would allow for flexibility and adaptability during implementation.
Furthermore, an agreement was reached to visit the Dreams Hub technological center and its business incubator, ‘La Cápsula’. This visit aims to provide a deeper understanding of their activities and the value they offer to the business and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
