Children of the Huevos de Cristal Program continued with their excursions and visits to organisations to further learn and experience real life working situations while also getting their curiosities satisfied.
An initiative of Dreams Hub Research and Innovation Center, Huevos de Cristal is a social program for children aged between the ages of 7-13, teaching them skills in information technology and English language.
The children on Friday, visited the Solfage Mall, a leading multipurpose establishment located in the Paraiso area, Malabo, Equatorial Guinea. Consisting of a shopping mall, a furniture and art collection center and then a children’s section for toys, educational materials and gifts, it was definitely a delightful moment for the visiting children.
Welcomed by the Solfage crew, the children were given a grand tour of the establishment and explained the way and manner it all worked. From making orders for the goods to promoting and selling them. They were also told about Customer services.
Being the season of Valentine, Dreams Hub and Solfage showed the children that it’s not just a season for their guardians or parents but it’s also an opportunity to show their mates, friends and family that they appreciate and care about them. As a result, Solfage presented every child with a present, showing their admiration and love to these kids for getting into the Huevos de Cristal program and encouraged them to always listen attentively and practice what they are taught.
The children before then, got involved in an educational game. They were asked to pick some books on the shelves and answered some general questions much to the suprise and satisfaction of everyone present. Always curious, they also asked questions of the Solfage establishment which were answered by Staff present.
This was the third excursion/working visit to an establishment by the Huevos de Cristal since Dreams Hub began this phase of the program, offering them insights into what it looks and feels like to put what they’re taught into practice on a daily, and the opportunities to meet with professionals and get their curiosities satisfied.
To end another memorable visit, the children got to play and take pictures with some of their favourite children characters like Winnie the Pooh and Bugs Bunny. From the joy on their faces and brightness in their eyes, one could easily they had a terrific time.
And yes! They told the Solfage Staff they will be back with their parents to buy more gifts and any other thing that interests them. Kids!
