Malabo, Equatorial Guinea – September 23, 2023 – The four finalists selected for the inaugural edition of Pitch Your Dreams in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, Manuel Sese Nchama, Marta Dalila Apedo Pasialo, Pedro Sotero, and Prospero Miguel, were present yesterday to pitch their ideas to an expert jury in an event that also had some guests in attendance.

Pitch Your Dreams is a project to stimulate and support the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Equatorial Guinea, and the winner of this edition will join La Capsula – Dreams Hub’s incubator for an initial period of three months.
The initiative is open to entrepreneurs with innovative business ideas that have the potential to create jobs and boost economic growth.
The four finalists presented their pitches to a six-man jury comprising of:
- Maria Mar Bonkanka, International business consultant
- Carlos Endje, Deputy General Manager, Ecobank
- Jennifer Riveiro, Founder, Ilende and Partners
- Xiong Chang, Head of Political Section, Embassy of the People’s Republic of China
- Pedro Ezomo, Economist and Accounting professional
- Paulino Menejal, Director General of the National Institute for Business Promotion and Development
The jury was visibly impressed by the finalists and alongside their questions at the end of every pitch, gave valuable advice and suggestions which the entrepreneurs assured to heed to and also take under advisement.

After the pitches, the jury, finalists, and guests engaged in a networking session. The networking session provided an opportunity for the finalists to discuss their projects in more details, receive constructive feedback and engage potential partners.
This is a valuable initiative that is helping to support the entrepreneurship ecosystem and is providing entrepreneurs with the opportunity to pitch their business ideas to experts and receive valuable feedback from experienced professionals.
The winner of the Pitch Your Dreams competition will be announced in the coming days.
