In 2019, the singer has been named UNICEF´s National Goodwill Ambassador. This year she confirmed the commitment of carrying messages of hope for children and young people for her country.

Nelida Karr (Malabo, 1990) is the musical revelation of the rhythms of Equatorial Guinea. Singer, songwriter, pianist, guitarist and percussionist comes from a small piece of land from the Bubi ethnic group. Surrounded by a family of musicians, Nélida is the daughter of producer and singer Samuel Karr.
