The Africa Digital Festival through its series of activities leading to the annual Pan African business platform for all things digital and tech on the continent is announcing the class of 2021 for its Africa Digital Champions list.
The Africa’s 50 Digital Champions is a list that showcases innovators, start-ups, policymakers among other stakeholders from 50 African countries who are championing the use of digital.

This year’s list of innovatorsconsists of gamechangers who leverages on Digital technologies to impact, accelerate job creation, achieving SDGs, implementing policies among others that promote and strengthens the continent’s digital ecosystems.
The following is the class of 2021 who have between August 2020 to June 2021 championed the use of digital through various strategies in accelerating their country’s digital prospects.
According to Foster Kofi Sam, the Chief Vision Officer of Africa Digital Festival, the list is not a ranking but a list of leading individuals championing corporate digital transformation, innovative new technologies and business models, technology training and those using technology for social change in Africa.
