The Thunders confirmed their progress to the next phase after defeating Sierra Leone 1-0 – a result which eliminated the Leone Stars.

Vice president of Equatorial Guinea ‘Teodoro Obiang Nguema’ again took to twitter to congratulate the thunders for their impressive display in the competition thus far.

“Congratulations to our team you have just earned another 200million from as I’ve promised “ Teodoro Obiang Nguema tweeted.

Teodoro Obiang Nguema vice President of Equatorial Guinea had promised his compatriots 200million XAF Franc for Each Game Won in CAN, in an attempt to motivate the Nzalang Nacional Progress through the tournament.
