Equatorial Guinea: Dreams Hub Partners with Zuritek and EG Tech to Launch Program your Dreams

Dreams Hub Research and Innovation Center have partnered with Zuritek, a web development company, and EG Tech to launch a programming and tech skills initiative called Program your Dreams.

Dreams Hub, which began programming classes last year have now partnered with Zuriteck and EG Tech to take the program to a higher level and imparting relevant skills necessary for the continued growth of the Equatorial Guinean tech ecosystem. With this new partnership which kicked off last Monday, April 4, 2023, , children, youths and the general public, interested in developing or improving their coding and other tech skills can now be a part of it.

By bringing the essential technological tools, these organisations are committed to helping young people in Equatorial Guinea reach their dreams as the program aims to provide opportunities for young people to gain marketable digital skills and increase their chances of getting well-paying jobs and succeed in the tech industry.

The program will be taught by industry experts who will cover the basics of coding, digital marketing, graphic design, project management, product management and UI/UX design. In addition, the program will be offered in English and Spanish to ensure that the experience of learning is accessible to all.

Zuritek’s collaboration with Dreams hub and EG Tech represents a commitment to education and the development of the youth of Equatorial Guinea. Dreams Hub is an entrepreneurial support organisation, also dedicated to providing people with tools and skills so that they can carry out their projects and realize their dreams. EG Tech, on the other hand, is focused on providing essential technological skills to young people so they can take advantage of opportunities in the industry.

Program your Dreams is open to all the people in Equatorial Guinea, regardless of level of education or work experience. Young people are highly encouraged to participate as it is tuition free. The program is designed to provide hands-on experience in a collaborative and supportive learning environment.

These three organisations believe that providing young people with access to quality tech education is a powerful way to further drive economic growth.
