Africa Sports Unified Launches Pan-African Deals Tracker to Boost Market Transparency

Africa Sports Unified Launches Pan-African Deals Tracker to Boost Market Transparency

Africa Sports Unified has introduced a new data intelligence tool designed to bring greater clarity and structure to Africa’s expanding sports economy.

The Africa Sports Deals Tracker, launched this week, seeks to address a long-standing challenge in the sector: limited access to reliable and consolidated data on commercial activity. As investment and partnerships increase across the continent, much of the deal-making activity remains fragmented, underreported and difficult to analyze.

By aggregating this information into a single, structured platform, the tracker provides stakeholders with a clearer view of the market. It covers a wide range of deal types, including sponsorship agreements, media rights, infrastructure investments and strategic partnerships, enabling users to monitor trends and benchmark opportunities across regions.

“The African sports market is evolving rapidly, but access to structured and reliable data remains a major constraint,” said Gabriel Ajala, founder of Africa Sports Unified. “This platform is designed to give decision-makers the clarity they need not only to understand the market, but to act with confidence.”

The platform offers pan-African coverage, capturing activity across multiple countries and sectors. It includes detailed information on deal values where available, duration, sector focus and the stakeholders involved. Built on verified data from multiple sources, the tracker is updated regularly to reflect new developments in the market.

Industry observers say the initiative could play a key role in strengthening transparency and attracting further investment into Africa’s sports sector. By making data more accessible, the platform is expected to support governments, investors, sponsors and sports organizations in making more informed strategic decisions.

As Africa’s sports economy continues to grow, tools such as the Deals Tracker are becoming increasingly important in shaping a more organized and competitive market. By consolidating fragmented information into a unified system, Africa Sports Unified aims to contribute to the long-term development of a more integrated and data-driven sports industry across the continent.
