Equatorial Guinea: All Set for Pitch Your Dreams Final With one Winner to Emerge

Malabo, Equatorial Guinea – September 20, 2023 – Dreams Hub Research and Innovation Center, a technology and entrepreneurship support organisation with co-working space in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, is excited to announce the four finalists for its inaugural Pitch Your Dreams competition.

The final event will be held on Friday, September 22, 2023, starting from 10 am at Dreams Hub Alpha hall located in the organisation’s head office, Ela Nguema, Malabo.

These finalists were selected from a pool of applicants of close to 40 submissions. The call for entries lasted from August 2nd to September 9th. An initial shortlist was then created before another round of screening saw eight (four in Malabo and four in Bata) entrepreneurs emerge the finalists who will now have a chance of making a case for their business ideas and startups to a jury made up of professionals from the private and public sectors with expertise in various sectors from technology, economy, law, financing and administration. A date for the Bata finalists will be announced in due course.

The four finalists set to contest in Malabo are, Manuel Sese Nchama, Marta Dalila Apedo Pasialo, Pedro Sotero and Prospero Miguel, and they have already been given all access to the international entrepreneurship platform, Vavil Institute, where they can further improve their pitching skills, join a global community of entrepreneurs and founders, and get funding opportunities. Dreams Hub Edtech’s platform, Autoclax signed a memorandum of understanding with the Vavil Institute in August to bring founders closer to achieving their dreams and also preparing them for the world of entrepreneurship through its venture preparedness courses.

The finalists will each have an opportunity to present their pitches to a panel of judges, who will select one winner. The winner will receive a spot in Dreams Hub’s incubator program, La Capsula for an initial period lasting three months. The other finalists will receive discounted fees for courses on

Autoclax for the next three months and a 50% discount price on business consultancy and startups evaluation for the next three months as well for being finalists.

The Pitch Your Dreams competition is designed to support and encourage entrepreneurs in Equatorial Guinea. The competition provides entrepreneurs with an opportunity to pitch their business ideas to a panel of judges and receive critical feedback and network.
