Equatorial Guinea has crowned its new national beauty queen, with Teresa Isabel Mbomio Ada of Evinayong taking the Miss Equatorial Guinea 2026 title in Malabo.
Mbomio succeeds Carmen Ismelda, who concludes more than a year as the country’s national beauty representative. The transition opens a new chapter for Mbomio, who will now prepare to represent Equatorial Guinea at an international pageant in her category.
Originally from Evinayong and currently living in Spain, Mbomio brings a profile that combines academic ambition, sporting discipline and personal development. She is studying Dentistry and is also a basketball player, experiences that have shaped her journey to the national crown.
Her participation in the competition marked the beginning of a new personal challenge. Among a field of candidates seeking the national title, Mbomio progressed through the competition with determination and confidence before emerging as the 2026 winner.
