H.E. Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, Vice President of Equatorial Guinea confirmed Online Visa Will be Activated in Equatorial Guinea starting from 1 February.

Last Thursday, January 26th, Nguema Obiang Mangué, Vice President of the Republic, accompanied by the inter-ministerial team involved in the development of the National Tourism Plan, met with the firm VSF-GLOBAL to know the degree of progress of the design of the website that tourists and businessmen will be accessing to apply for their entry visas to Equatorial Guinea.

In view of this task, Djalil Assouma, CEO of VSF-GLOBAL, has indicated that the work is at an advanced stage, but they want to deliver it as soon as possible. “The website design work carried out so far is at its final stage, I would say 80% complete. Our goal is to have this key tool for national tourism operational before the official opening of this indispensable tool for welcoming tourists to the country,” said the head of VSF-Global.

In this regard, Djalil Assouma informed the Vice-President and the other attendees that access to this website is open to all nations of the world. “The website is freely accessible and is translated into four languages, including Spanish, Portuguese, French and English. Once the application form has been filled in and payment has been made, the tourist will be notified within 72 hours of being granted or denied a visa,” he said.

With these explanations from the CEO of VSF-GLOBAL, Nguema Obiang Mangué has confirmed that the online visa to enter Equatorial Guinea will be operational from the 1st of February; so there are exactly six days left for the official launch of this important tool for the national economic and tourism sector.
