Liquid C2, a subsidiary of Cassava Technologies, has launched Africa’s first Google Cloud-powered Partner Experience Centre, marking a significant step in advancing artificial intelligence and cloud adoption across the continent.

Developed in collaboration with Google Cloud, the facility in Johannesburg is designed to provide partners and resellers with a hands-on environment to develop, test and deploy digital solutions tailored to African markets. The centre offers direct access to enterprise-grade tools, including Gemini Enterprise and a dedicated “Gemini Playspace” for rapid experimentation in artificial intelligence.

The initiative reflects a growing demand for advanced digital capabilities across Africa, where businesses and institutions are increasingly seeking to integrate AI into their operations. Through structured training programs, participants will be guided toward official Google Cloud certification while collaborating with engineers to design solutions that address local challenges.

Beyond technical training, the centre is intended to function as a collaborative hub where enterprises, startups, academic institutions and public-sector stakeholders can co-create innovative solutions. By bridging skills gaps and infrastructure constraints, the facility aims to accelerate digital transformation and improve the competitiveness of African businesses.

The centre also features industry-specific platforms tailored to sectors such as financial services, healthcare and retail. These platforms demonstrate how AI-powered solutions can enhance efficiency, reduce operational risks and improve customer engagement, while opening new avenues for growth.

Executives from Cassava Technologies and Google Cloud described the launch as a milestone in Africa’s digital development. They emphasized that combining global technology with local expertise would help democratize access to AI tools and strengthen the continent’s innovation ecosystem.

The initiative is expected to contribute to economic growth by expanding the partner network and creating new employment opportunities for technology professionals. By enabling companies to prototype and scale solutions locally, the centre is positioned to support the development of a more resilient and inclusive digital economy.

As digital transformation accelerates across Africa, the launch of the Partner Experience Centre underscores the role of strategic partnerships in driving innovation and ensuring that businesses of all sizes can benefit from emerging technologies.
