The new cases include four travelers who arrived from Dubai, one traveler who arrived from the USA, and one contact of a previously confirmed positive traveler detected through contact tracing.

Dubai continues to remain the main source of the majority of the cases that have been positively diagnosed in Rwanda.

All the patients, according to a statement from the Ministry of Health have been isolated, adding that all of them are in stable condition in an isolated health facility.

All patients are recovering from a dedicated facility established in the premises of Kanyinya Health Centre in Nyarugenge District.

“Majority are asymptomatic, and no patient is in critical condition.”
